Don’t wait for rock bottom
Do you find that you question your drinking or have an internal dialogue about your alcohol consumption?
Do you try to moderate but find you regularly drink more than you want to?
Do you find that pouring that glass of wine after a long day has become more of a habit than a choice?
Do you set goals to take a break from alcohol, but don’t manage to achieve them, or if you do, pick up right where you left off when you start again?
Grey Area Drinking is that vast space between being able to “take it or leave it” and the kind of drinking that would commonly be described as problematic. For many people it isn’t as black and white as having a problem or not and although outwardly there may be no signs that alcohol is having any negative effect at all, it is the way we feel about our drinking that really matters.
People often question whether it would ever be possible for them to change their relationship with alcohol, to take a break or to stop drinking completely.
Whatever your goal is (and it is ok if that goal changes) we can explore the best way for you to work towards it. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach, every client is different and we work with where you are currently, and forge forward from there.
If you just have a niggling feeling that alcohol is no longer serving you, or that is taking more from you than it is giving, then we can explore all of your options.
As well as formal training, I have vast personal experience of working through my own relationship with alcohol and my clients always tell me that because of my lived experience, I truly understand. 1-1 coaching was my solution, after years of trying, I would love it to be yours too.
During this session we will explore where you are currently in relation to alcohol, what is keeping you stuck and what your stumbling blocks are.
We will explore your options, and will finish the session with a with a plan to get you from where you are, to where you want to be.
This will be followed by a further accountability call, 3-4 weeks later, to track your progress, address any further obstacles, re-evaluate what has worked for you, and anything that hasn’t, and then make tweaks to your plans and goals, so you have complete clarity moving forward.
The discovery call enables me to learn a little bit about you and I can tell you more about coaching and what to expect. You can then take some time to decide whether you think I would be a good fit for you. It is an informal call and there is no pressure or obligation to sign up.
