Grey Area Drinking Coaching

Don’t wait for rock bottom

Do you find that you question your drinking or have an internal dialogue about your alcohol consumption?

Do you try to moderate but find you regularly drink more than you want to?

Do you find that pouring that glass of wine after a long day has become more of a habit than a choice?

Do you set goals to take a break from alcohol, but don’t manage to achieve them, or if you do, pick up right where you left off when you start again?

You don’t have to hit some kind of 'rock bottom' to want to change your relationship with alcohol.

Many people are now making the choice to remove alcohol from their life due to the impact it has on our mental and physical health and are flourishing because of it.

These type of drinkers would be described as falling into the category of a Grey Area Drinker. So what is Grey Area Drinking?

Grey Area Drinking is that vast space between being able to “take it or leave it” and the kind of drinking that would commonly be described as problematic. For many people it isn’t as black and white as having a problem or not and although outwardly there may be no signs that alcohol is having any negative effect at all, it is the way we feel about our drinking that really matters.

People often question whether it would ever be possible for them to change their relationship with alcohol, to take a break or to stop drinking completely.

Whatever your goal is (and it is ok if that goal changes) we can explore the best way for you to work towards it. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach, every client is different and we work with where you are currently, and forge forward from there.

If you just have a niggling feeling that alcohol is no longer serving you, or that is taking more from you than it is giving, then we can explore all of your options.

As well as formal training, I have vast personal experience of working through my own relationship with alcohol and my clients always tell me that because of my lived experience, I truly understand. 1-1 coaching was my solution, after years of trying, I would love it to be yours too.
